OKLAHOMA LADIES AUXILIARY SOCIETY SONS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION
(LAOKSSAR)

Purpose: The Oklahoma Ladies Auxiliary maintains a nonprofit association of women interested in the objectives of the Oklahoma State and National Society Sons of the American Revolution (SAR). The Ladies assist the SAR mission of inspiring patriotism and informing others of the contributions of our Revolutionary War Ancestors, as well as promoting membership and supporting OKSSAR projects.

Membership: Membership in the LAOKSSAR is open to all natal women who wish to support SAR and its mission. Membership dues are $5 annually or $50 for a lifetime membership. By joining the LAOKSSAR you automatically become a member of the National Ladies Auxiliary (NLA) at no additional cost.

Meetings: The LAOKSSAR conducts two regular meetings each year; one at the OKSSAR Annual Conference in the spring and one general membership meeting in the fall (this may be electronic). Additional NLA meetings offer Ladies programs and networking opportunities, such as the South-Central District meeting, the NLASAR Fall and Spring Leadership as well as the SAR annual Congress.

History: The Oklahoma Ladies Auxiliary was officially established during the 119th Oklahoma SAR Society State Conference in April 2025. There were 33 Charter members. As of this date (February 2026) we have 45 members in three states and attached to the seven (7) Oklahoma SAR Chapters.
